Mrs. Robert Herman was her
sister-in-law’s matron of honor.
Mr. Alterman was best man for

Mrs. Adoff is a former Atlantan
and was entertained by her many
friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin N. Siegel
have returned to Atlanta after
spending 16 days travelling in
Europe, sightseeing with a group
of the Atlanta Ski Club. They
went to Switzerland, Germany,
Austria, Italy and France.
Mr. and Mrs. Alan Friedlander
of Atlanta announce the birth of
a son, Lawrence Edward, on
March 10. A Briss was perform
ed March 17 by Rev. Max Klcin-
mann.
Rabbi and Mrs. Frank Fisher
of Athens announce the birth of
their second son, Jonathan Eli,
on March 11. Rev. Max Klein-
mann performed the' Briss on
March 18. Rabbi Fisher is the
director of Hillcl at the UGa. and
spiritual leader of the Athens,
Ga., congregation.
Dr. and Mrs. Larry A. Cohen
of Atlanta announce the birth of
a son, John Michael, on March
17. Mrs. Cohen is the former Edie
Faye Ruben, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. IV^eyer Ruben of Atlanta.

Bette Carol Taitz, daughter of

Marks Child's Dan
The Atlanta Chapter of Hadas
sah will commemorate “Child's
Day for Youth Aliyah” on Sun
day, March 27.
Governor Carl Sanders has
issued a proclamation marking
the day and American youth of
all faiths will join in observing
this day throughout the United
States.
Youth Aliyah, the international
agency for the rescue of under
privileged Jewish children, has
been responsible for the rehabil
itation in Israel of some 120,000
Jewish children from 80 countries,
according to Mrs. Milton Saul,
president of Atlanta Hadassah.
Citing the success of the pro
gram, Mrs. Saul said, “It is no
accident that Youth Alivah grad
uates are among the prominent
artists in Israel today; that Youth
Aliyah graduates occupy leading
positions in government, industry
and commerce. Youth Aliyah’s
methods in child rehabilitation
and education are being emulated
by child welfare agencies in vari
ous parts of the world.”
