Conservative Sisterhoods of South
New Orleans has been set as
the site of the Oth Annual Spring
Conference of the Southern
Branch of National Womens Lea
gue of the United Synagogue of
America, April 24-26. Conference
activities will be held at the Fon-
tainbleu Motor Hotel with the
Sisterhood of the Conservative
Jewish Congregation of New Or
leans as hostess Sisterhood.

liberate on ways in which they
can enhance their personal, fam
ily and Sisterhood commitment
to Judaism. Mrs. Rudolph Aslor,
of West Roxbury, Mass., national
leadership training chairman for
the organization, will serve as
speaker consultant to the Con
ference. Mrs. Astor is a specialist
in the field of human dynamics,
the study of interaction of people
in groups.
A major feature of the Confer
ence will be an “Involvement
Seminar," aimed at solving one
of the most urgent problems of
all Jewish organizations, "How
do we get our people to accept
responsibi 1 it y — to become in
volved?"

note symposium.

Florida, and Louisiana. Mrs. Sid
ney Shinbaum of Montgomery is
current president.

paper.
