Broome—Wilker
SAVANNAH — Miss Simone
Broome, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Sidney I. Broome, became
the bride of Bernard Harris Wil
ker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Wilker of Rockville Centre, N.Y.,
on Sunday, Aug. 20, in the B’nai
B’rith Jacob Synagogue. Rabbi
Hershel Brooks, officiated.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride had Miss Naomi
Wilker of Rockville Centre, as
maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Miss Valerie Mopper, Miss Ellen
Schneider, Miss Eva Elias, Mrs.
Robert Rattet of Atlanta, Miss
Toby Director and Miss Brenda
Elman. Carolyn Broome of
Howard Beach, N.Y., was flower
girl
Warren Rosenfeld of Rockville
Centre served as the bride
groom’s best man and ushers
were Peter Hein, of Freeport,
N.Y., Philip Bombart and Steven
Bombart, of Rockville Centre,
Steven Director, Donald Sch-
warcz of Dallas, and Joseph
Greenberg of Fairfield, Conn.
A reception was held follow
ing the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Las
Vegas and San Francisco, the
couple will reside at 32 Central
Park West, New York City.
Danziger—Estroff
AUGUSTA — Walton Way
Temple was the scene Monday,
Sept. 4, of the marriage of Miss
Ann-Toni Danziger, daughter of
Mrs. Frankie R. Levy and Philip
Danziger, and William Aaron
Estroff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max
well J. Estroff.
Rabbi Norman Goldburg of
ficiated. Disney Richardson, or
ganist, presented the music.
Mr. Estroff was his son’s best
man. Ushers were Jerome Shoab,
Malcolm Estroff, Simon Estroff
and Haskell Toporek.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her parents. Miss Sharon
Silver was maid of honor.
Miss Melinda Fink assisted at
the reception held in the Temple
Social Hall.
Following a wedding trip to
Jamaica, the newly-weds will re
side in New York City.
Among those who entertained
for the couple prior to their mar
riage were Gerald Kaynard, who
gave a surprise party at his
home, and the bride’s mother,
Mrs. Frankie R. Levy, who held
an open house to announce the
couple’s engagement. Melinda
Fink gave a cocktail party and
Mrs. Irvin Greenfield and Mrs.
Myer Shapiro hosted a luncheon.
Others who entertained were
Mr. and Mrs. David Silver, Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Simowitz and
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Kortick
who held ai> open house and Mrs.
A. K. Steinberg, Mrs. Isadore
Goldwasser and Mrs. Sidney
Rosen who gave a luncheon.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Jones
also entertained and the bride
groom’s parents gave the re
hearsal party. Mr. and Mrs. Mal
colm Estroff, Mr. and Mrs. Simon
Estroff and Mr. and Mrs. Haskell
Toporek entertained with a
brunch.
Friedman—Morgan
AUGUSTA — Mr. and Mrs. A.
A. Friedman announce the en
gagement of their daughter,
Susan Ann, to Richard Lee Mor
gan of Atlanta, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sol Davidson Morgan, also
of Atlanta.
The wedding will take place in
January at the Walton Way
Temple.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Isaac Marks and the
late Mrs. Marks and the late Mr.
and Mrs. Solomon Friedman.
She graduated from the Bar-
tram School in Jacksonville, and
was graduated with honors from
the University of Florida where
she was active in student gov
ernment and served as an officer
of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority.
She is presently a research asso
ciate in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grand
son of Mrs. Meyer Rich and the
late Mr. Rich and the late Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Morgan.
He graduated from Northside
High School, Atlanta, and from
the University of Georgia. He is
associated with Rich and Morgan
Inc. in Atlanta.

SAVANNAH — The Hunter
Army Airfield Chapel was the
•scene of the Sunday, Aug. 27,
marriage of Miss Elizabeth Ann
Comer, and Philip Alexander
Homans. Rabbi Hershel Brooks
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce B. Comer.
Mr. Homans’ parents are Mr. and -
Mrs. Jack Homans.
Given in marriage by her fa
ther, the bride had Mrs. Alan
Chepenik ol Ft. Lauderdale, sis
ter of the bridegroom, as matron
of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Jules Homans of Plymouth, N. C.,
sister-in-law of the bridegroom,
and Mrs. Richard Cammer of
