Rabbi Harry K. Danziger of
Temple Israel in Memphis will
speak at Northwest Mississippi
Junior College, Senatobia, at 10
a. m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. His topic
will be “Count Your Blessings.”
On Wednesday and Thursday,
Nov. 29 and 30, Rabbi Randall
M. Falk of Temple. Ohabai Sho-
lom, Nashville, will participate in
the Conference on Judaism at
Bellarrrune and Ursuline Colleges
in Louisville, Ky.

Another year has begun and
United Synagogue Youth is on the
move again. This year promises
to be one of the greatest years to
date.
Since the beginning of Sep
tember, USY has had such func
tions as the annual Kickoff
Dance, at which Jim Jeffreys,
WQXI disc jockey, preaided, the
organization of our tremendous
ly successful bowling league,
which meets every other Wed
nesday, and on Sunday, Oct. 29,
the combined .chapters of USY
went to Six Flags Over Georgia.
On November 5, Charles Welt-
ner addressed the chapters on his
experiences on the House Un-
American Activities Committee.

JWV Post 112 of Atlanta
To Attend Nov. 11 Services
Post 112, Jewish War Veterans
of Atlanta, will join JWV groups
across the nation in commemor
ating Veterans Day by attending
Sabbath services this week in syn
agogues throughout the city. Post
112 Commander Elliot Goldberg
has announced that with Veterans
Day, November 11, falling this
year on the Sabbath, the organ
ization is encouraging all mem
bers and the entire Jewish com
munity to attend services on Fri
day night and Saturday morning
to honor the veterans.
Rabbis in all congregations,
Goldberg said, will take parti
cular note of these military men,
past and present.
“With the situation la the Mid
dle. East continuing in adds,’' the
commander continued, “and with
our boys fighting in Vietnam, it
is particularly significant for the
Jewish War Veteran* to reaffirm
their support of our fighting men
