cently entertained at a fashion
show of Israeli knitwear made
and designed in one of the orga
nization’s vooatio n a 1 training
schools Cor girds in Israel.
Mrs. Michael Mescon co-ordin
ated and narrated the fashion
show assisted by Mrs. Herbert
Mended. The following ladies
were models: Mrs. Pincus Aloof,
Mrs. Edwin Galler, Mrs. Emanuel

To Install
On April 9
B’nai B’rith Women of Atlanta
will install officers at 12:00 noon
on Tuesday, Apr. 9, at Yohan-
nan’s Restaurant at Lenox
Square. The incoming president,
Mrs. Robert Friedland, will be
installed by Mrs. Mickey Siegle,
immediate pilst president of Dis
trict Five. Luncheon will be fol- v
flowed by a concert performed
by Cantor Goodfriend.
The incoming slate consists of
• president, Mrs. Robert Friedland;
vice-presidents, Mrs. Stanley
Rinzler, Mrs. Seymour Romoff,
Mrs. Marshall Solomon, Mrs.
Albert Danenberg, Mrs. Ronald
Katz, Mrs. Eugene Asher. Other

Mrs. Edwin Rechtman, Mrs. Ron

Berman, Mrs. Stanley Ulman,

Tour To Israel
The Travel Mart has announced
that Shalom Ben Levy, Youth Di
rector of Shearith Ismael Syna
gogue, will conduct a special tour
to Europe and
Israel this sum
mer.

land. In addition Ben Levy

cultural, historical and biblical
highlight, Ben Levy has promised
some interesting personal side
lights.
The tour will depart from New
York on July 29 and after brief
visits to London and Paris will
spend two weeks in Israel—cross
ing the length and breadth of the
land.

rael” as Queen for the Day, as
Mrs. Harry Iteld was honored on
the celebration of her 13th year
as a Mother in Israel. Mrs. Sol
omon Iteld was presented with
a certificate commemorating her
10th year of service as a Mother
In Israel, which represents the
financial support of a child for
one month each year.
Election of officers was held
with the following women to
serve in the coming year: presi
dent, Mrs. David Warman; vice
presidents, Mrs. Morton Palter,
Mrs. Solomon Iteld, Mrs. Norman
Berlat; rec. secy., Mrs. Pincus

An intensive membership cam
paign is now underway through
April 28 at which time a cele
bration in the form of a Victory
Party will be held at Beth Jacob
Synagogue.

Aid Creator
B’nai B’rith Women of Atlanta
will honor the memory of Mis.
Charlotte Rosenberg by giving a
wheel chair to the Cerebral Palsy
School.
Mrs. Agnes Seymour, admini
strator of the school, will acoept
the gift for the school at a lunch
eon at 12:00 noon Tuesday, April
9, at Yohanan’s at Lenox Square.

number of inventions to benefit

Terri Josephs, daughter of Dr.
and Mrs. Alvin Josephs of At
lanta, was chosen Queen of the
Military Ball at the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The event, held on February 24,
represented the ROTC groups of
the Navy, Air Force and Marines.
Miss Josephs and Donna Lan
dau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Sol Landau of Atlanta, both
freshman at UNC, were two of
45 students at Chapel Hill to be
selected for the Student Leader
ship Development Program. Two
retreats, designed to make parti
cipants more fully aware of the
feelings of others and themselves,
will be followed by seminars on
leadership and committee forma
tion.

conventions in this country,
Afrioa and Israel.
She had a particular Interest
in .the Cerebral Palsy School and
was instrumental 20 years ago
in the organization of the B’nai
B’rith Women’s Cerebral Palsy
Motor Corps, which is still op
erating. The Motor Corps provides
transportation enabling many
palsied, children to attend the
school.
At this time, B’nai B’rith
Women is seeking additional
drivers to help keep this service
as a meaningful living memorial
to Charlotte Rosenberg. Driver*,
who can give one hour of time,
one day a week, are asked to con
