How far are you
looking ahead?
What stocks should you buy?
What stocks should you sell?
The answers are not the same for every investor. Personal
investment needs and objectives vary with individuals and
from time to time. Changing conditions often alter the out
look for individual companies. Why continue to hold a se
curity which fails to serve the purpose for which it was
purchased?
But we are in a position to help you in arriving at your
decision.

Golda Meir Sees
Peace Prospect
Dim in Mideast
NEW YORK (JTA) — Israel’s
former Foreign Minister Mrs.
Golda Meir said here that
prospects for peace in the near
future were dim and that in
the absence of a Middle East
settlement, Israel must depend
on her own military forces to
maintain her security.
Addressing a dinner of the
American friends of the Hebrew
University, Mrs. Meir based her
pessimism on Egyptian President
Nasser’s vision of “glory in de
stroying Israel,” a recent agree
ment between Jordan’s King
Hussein and Palestinian comman
does, and the Soviet Union’s
Middle East policy which is hos
tile to Israel.
She said that Israel cannot
entrust its security to a United
Nations force, recalling the UN
Emergency Force’s pull-out from
Sinai preceding last year’s Arab-
Israel war. No nation can guaran
tee that a peace agreement,
signed by the Arab countries
would be an “iron-clad guaran
tee” that Israel would not be
attacked again, she said.
