Ada Marx has returned to St.
Pete after a ten day fun spree
in Miami and has called for re
hearsals, starting December 13,
at the Jewish Community Cen
ter for “School Daze,” which will
reach back in the long ago foi
songs and costumes.
Special settings are being cre
ated by Oscar Ascher, stage man
ager. New names added to the
cast include Rosalie Hall, Eunice
Herrod, Jack Bernstein, Floreen
Handler, Ethel Green, Jessie
Parks, Manny Ward, Florence
Ganz, Alma Gertner, Ada Marx,
Helen Birkhahn, Francis Kellogg,
Oscar Ascher, Harry Goldberg,
Jennie Tinkle, Harry Rose,
George Birkhahn, A1 Zatlin,
Leon Katten, Adele Lasday Em
anuel Mark, Anna Senel, Har
riet Schlaehter, Margaret Culver,
Dora Kaiser, Frances Sherman
and Sol Vayda.
The orchestra will be under the
musical direction of Ada Marx.
Price of admission will remain
$1.00.
Celia Miller, just admitted into
membership in SF Club, was
rushed to Mound Park Hospital
late last week, where she under
went immediate surgery. Late re
ports has her making wonderful
progress but she will remain hos
pitalized for several weeks
There is terrific interest being
displayed by the members of SF
Club in the special Hanuka
Luncheon being ‘'presented by
the National Council of Jewish
Women, sponsors of the Club, at
12 noon Thursday, December 19
Pauline Zirinsky, released from
Palms of Pasadena Hospital last
week, was again rushed back to
the medical institution late last
week and immediately placed
under intense care.
Ira and Alta Cutler will cele
brate their 60th wedding anni
versary on February 9, and their
friends, in and out of SF Club,
are preparing to see that a very
special recognition of the occas
ion is given to this couple.
Jack Bernstein was elected as
committeeman at large, filling the
vacancy caused by the resignation
of Jennie Giniger, now living in
Miami.
S. Litchenstein has inagurated
his painting classes, which will
be a regular monthly feature in
club programs. His instructions
will include both oils and water
color.
Among new members register
ing this past week were Murry
and Helen Touby, Mae Jarmon,
Celia Miller, Mary Unterweiser,
Benjamin and Anna Neuman and
Sarah Odess.
Among visitors at the last
meeting were Celia Trubin, of
New York City; .Teneva Mitchell
and Julie Stein of St. Peters
burg.

Sam and Helen Schneider have
become members of the Golden
Circle Group, celebrating 50 and
more years of married life. The
Schneiders were married on
March 7, 1919, and entered the
Golden Circle of SF Club at the
last meeting.

Mae De Weil has fully recovered
the full use of her leg, which has
bothered her for over a year,

feeling very well again.
