AUBREY MORRIS «
A rab Terrorists f
Have Moved Front
Lines to Europe
Arab terrorism is a threat to
all the world, Aubrey Morris,
prominent news commentator
for WSB radio station, told the
Optimist Club of Atlanta last
week.
Returning from a ten-day tour
of Israel, Morris told the group
“Arab terrorists have moved the
front line to Europe and the air-
lanes.” He was referring to the
blowing up of the Swiss air-^1
liner and other sobotage of air
planes by Arabs.
Like piracy on the high seas,
terrorism in the high skies must
be halted, he declared.
Morris reported on the free
dom with which Christians and
Moslems are able to visit all re
ligious shrines in Israel.
He also found a sharp contrast
in listening to the radio of Jor
dan and the radio of Israel,
noting:
“The Israel radio theme is
peace, broadcasting bi-lingual
programs of cultural music and
encouragement to all people.
The Jordanian radio'-was mark
ed by blistering demands for
the death of Israel.”
Explaining the political impli
cations of the Mid East crisis, he
reported on the high involve
ment of Russia in furnishing
armaments to the Arabs and de
clared the “U. S. must furnish
Israel with planes and armament
to maintain a balance.”
The speaker was introduced by
Sam Rothberg.
