nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Betsy Irene, to Mi
chael Steven Cenker, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Hershal Cenker,
aiso of Atlanta.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Gerson and the late
Mr. and Mrs. A1 Berger, all of
Atlanta. She is the step-grand
daughter of Mrs. Mollie Berger
formerly of Atlanta.
Miss Gerson is employed by
Sun Life Assurance Company
of Canada.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Charles G. Shinas and Mrs.
A. Cenker and the late Mr.. A.
Cenker, all of Atlanta.
Mr. Cenker is presently en
rolled in the school of Industrial
and Systems Engineering at
Georgia Tech.
The wedding is planned for
December 17, at Congregation
Beth Jacob Synagogue.

Falk-Osterweil
TAMPA—Leslie Anne Falk of
Tampa and John William Oster-
weil of Savannah were married
Jluly 15 in Temple Schaarai
Zedek in Tampa.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr,, and Mrs. Lawrence Lip-
man Falk of Tampa. The bride
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving Osterweil of Sa
vannah.
Given in marriage by her fa
ther, the bride had Mrs. Jack
Alan Guttman of Tampa as ma
tron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Miss Adella Peckett and
Miss Nancy Kotler, cousin of
the bride, both of Tampa.
The bridegroom’s father was
best man. Ushers were Lee
Falk of Tampa, brother of the
bride; Stanley Harris Jr. of Sa
vannah; and Jerry Luxenberg
of Orlando.
After a reception at the Uni
versity Club, the couple left for
a wedding trip to Scandanavia.
They will live in Tampa.
Dinnerman-Broomberg
VALDOSTA — Miss Debbie
Ann Dinnerman and Marvin C.
Broomberg were united in mar
riage June 17 at Temple Israel
in Valdosta.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Dinner-
man of Adel, and the groom is
the son of Mrs. Jack Broom
berg, and the late Mr. Broom-
bergg, of Vadlosta.

ficiated.
Mr. Sheldon Broomberg, of
Valdosta, brother of the bride
groom was best man. Usher-
groomsmen were Michael Din
nerman, brother of the bride,
Howard Broomberg, brother of
the bridegroom, Sam Steigman,
Joe Vallotton, all of Valdota,
Carl Bogo of Augusta, and
Bruce Buie of Jacksonville.
Miss Bonnie Dinn e r m a n
served as her sister’s maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Miss
Jan Howell, Miss Elayne Fein-
berg, both of Valdosta, and
Mrs. Carl Bogo of Augusta, sis
ter of the groom.
Miss Tammie Dinnerman, sis
ter of the bride, was junior
bridesmaid, and David Broom
berg, nephew of the groom, was
junior groomsman.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father.
Following the ceremony, the
bride’s parents entertained with
a seated dinner at Valdosta
Country Club. Two sisters-in-
law of the bridegroom, Mrs.
Howard Broomberg and Mrs.
Sheldon Broomberg, all of Val
dosta, assisted the hosts and the
bride’s book was kept by Miss
Linda Freeman, Miss Chrlotte
McCord, both of Barnesville,
and Mrs. Ricky Maddox of
Monticello, Fla.

Daughter of Phil Rosenberg,
the bride-elect is the grand
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Rosenberg and
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Holdowsky
of Sioux City, Iowa. She attend
ed the Atlanta College of Den
tal Assistants and is a dental
assistant.
Mr. Beitchman is the grand
son of Mrs. Jennie Beitchman
and the late Louis Beitchman,
and Mrs. Lena Nussbaum and
the late Jack Nussbaum, all of
Brooklyn. He received a degree
in industrial engineering from
Georgia Tech and will attend
the University of Georgia
School of Law in the fall.
The wedding will be held
December 16 at the Beth Jacob
Synagogue.

Arlene Sarah Cohen of Savan
nah to Andrew Henry Lakin of
Hollywood, Fla.
The bride-elect is the daugh
ter of Mrs. Louis Cohen of Sa
vannah and the late Mr. Cohen.
The prospective bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben
jamin Lakin of Hollywood.
The wedding is planned for
September 3 in Agudath Achim
Synagogue.
Miss Cohen, a Savannah High
School graduate, attended Par
sons College in Fairfield, Iowa,
and West Georgia in Carrollton.

uated from Parsons College in
Fairfield where he was presi
dent of Alpha Epsilon Pi fra
ternity and from, Nova Univer
