LuAnn Cahn, senior at the
Henry Grady School of Jour
nalism, was re
cently awarded
a television news
broadcasting in
ternship with sta
tion WTLV, an
NBC affiliate in
Jacksonville, Fla.
LuAnn, who is
currently employed in Athens,
Ga. with a local radio station in
their newsroom, was elected
president of the University of
Georgia Chapter of Women in
Communications. At the comple
tion of her internship in Flori
da, Ms. Cahn will spend a few
weeks in San Jose, Cal., with her
parents, Mr. and Mr. Ronald
Cahn, formerly of Atlanta, be
fore returning to complete her
senior year in Athens.
Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Alter-
man of Atlanta recently
celebrated their 50th Wedding
Anniversary.
Fay Gold of Atlanta will ex
hibit her painting “Blue
Profiles” at the Cork Gallery,
Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln
Center through April 26.
