The future bridegroom, the
grandson of Mrs. Ben Solomon of
Charleston, attends Georgia State
University and is employed by the
Singer Co. in Atlanta
The wedding is planned for
Sept. I at the home of Mr.
Gretenstein's cousin, Mr. and Mrs.
Michael Schwarz of Atlanta.
Weinstein-Rich
Donna Jean Rich and Simon
Jack Weinstein of Atlanta were
married June 10 at Agudath
Achim Synagogue in Savannah
with Rabbi Richard Fagan
officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph Rich of Marietta.
The bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
Morris Weinstein of Lauderhill,
Fla. and the late Mr. Weinstein.
Miss Sharon Rich of Raleigh,
N.C., was maid of honor and
Christina Dobson was flower girl.
Barry Weinstein was best man.
Ushers were Jack Rich, Robert
Aitkens, and Robert Hassett, all of
Atlanta George Weinstein was

A reception at the synagogue
followed.
After a honeymoon in the Virgin
Islands, the couple will live in
Atlanta.
Green-Mazo
Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Joseph
Green of Augusta announce the
engagement of the daughter,
Susan O’Dowd Green, to Richard
Mazo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin
Mazo of Savannah.
Miss Green is the granddaughter
of the late Dr. and Mrs. Samuel
Green of Atlanta and Mr. and
Mrs. Jerome Franklin of Augusta.
Mr Mazo is the grandson of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Packer
of New York City and the late Mr.
and Mrs. Abraham Mazo of
Savannah.
The bride-elect graduated from
the University of Georgia where
she was a member of Alpha Delta
Pi sorority. She is a senior medical
student at the Medical College of
Georgia.
The future bridegroom, a
graduate of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is
also a senior medical student at the
Medical College of Georgia.
The wedding is planned for Oct.
6.
Cohen-Fox
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Brodey
of Indianapolis and Mr and Mrs.
Jack M. Cohen of Atlanta
announce the marriage of their
children, Barbara Brodey Fox and
Alan N. Cohen, on Friday, Aug.
10. The ceremony was performed
by Rabbi Richard Lehrman at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Adair.
Mrs. Ted Marcus was matron of
honor and Harold Goldstein,
uncle of the bridegroom, served
as best man. The Chupa was held
by Ronnie Brodey and Barry
Brodey, brothers of the bride, and
Roy M. Cohen and Jan P. Cohen,
brothers of the bridegroom
Grandparents of the bride and
bridegroom are Mr and Mrs.
Samuel Klezmer of Indianapolis
and Mrs. Albert L. Stein of
Atlanta.
The ceremony was followed by a
garden brunch at the Adair home.
After a wedding trip to Chicago
and Indianapolis, the couple will
reside in Marietta.
Schwartz-Berry
Lee Schwartz of Savannah
announced the engagement of his
daughter, Lori Jill, to Jeffery Neil
Berry, son of Saul Berry and Mrs.
Sonia Berry of Charleston, S.C.
Miss Schwartz is also the daughter
of the late Mrs. Elayne Schwartz.
The bride-elect, a graduate of
Savannah High School,
Oglethorpe University and the
National Institute of Paralegal
Training. She is employed by the
law firm of Nall and Miller in
Atlanta.
The bridegroom-elect, a
graduate of the University of
South Florida in Tampa, is
employed by Message Factors Inc.
in Atlanta.
The wedding is planned for Oct.
6 at Temple Mickve Israel in
Savannah.
Daughtry-Lesser
Cynthia Lesser and Clyde E.
Daughtry, both of Tampa, Fla.,
were married Aug. 4 at the Sea
Pines Inn and Golf Club in Hilton
Head Island, S.C. Rabbi Saul
Rubin of Savannah officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Marvin Lesser of
Savannah. The bridegroom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde
Daughtry of Ft. Myers, Fla.
Miss Jill Ross of Greensburg,
Pa., was maid of honor and Miss
Debra Heller of Tampa was
bridesmaid.
Geoff Daughtry of Ft. Myers
was best man. Ushers were
Michael Lesser and Mark Lesser,
both of Savannah.
The reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents on
Hilton Head Island. The couple
will live in Tampa.
Stock-Geffen
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph David
Stock of La Fayette, Ga.,
announce the engagement of their
daughter, Marla Renee Stock, to
Morris Roy Geffen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Geffen of Savannah.
The bride-elect received a
bachelor of science degree in home
economics from the University of
Georgia and is a trainee at St.
Mary's Hospital and Athens
General Hospital in Athens.
She is the granddaughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Mose I. Simmons of
Macon and of Mr. and Mrs.
Casper I. Stock of Rome.
The future bridegroom received
a bachelor of science degree in
chemistry, summa cum laude,
from the University of Georgia
where he was a member of Phi Beta
Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor
societies. He attends the Medical
College of Georgia in Augusta.
He is the grandson of Mrs.
Hirsch Geffen and the late Rabbi
Geffen of Richmond, Va., and of
Mrs. Morris Vogel and the late
Mr. Vogel of Savannah.
The wedding is planned for Nov.
18, at B’nai Zion Synagogue in
Chattanooga, Tenn.
