Joan Ellen Krakow and David
Glazer, both of Atlanta, were mar
ried May 25 at The Temple. Rabbi
Alvin Sugarman officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Dorothy and George Krakow of
Atlanta. The bridegroom is the son
of Ruth and Alex Glazer of Miami
Beach.
Joyce Forgoston, sister of the
bride, was matron of honor. Dou
glas Romanoff was best man. Jun
ior bridesmaids were Sari Ehrenk-
ranz, Jana Krakow, Lindsey
Romanoff and Nicole Forgoston.
Ushers were Dr. Richard Krakow
and Dr. Howard Ehrenkranz.
Mrs. Miriam Barnett and Mrs.
Harriet Orentlicher kept the bride’s

After a honeymoon trip to Can-
cun, Mexico, the coupie lives in
Roswell.

Ellen Kohn marries Steven Osinski
Rita Kohn Levy of Atlanta and
Dr. A. Robert Kohn of Albany,
N.Y., announce the marriage of
their daughter, Ellen Phyllis, to
Steven Frank Osinski. son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Osinski of Fair
Lawn, N.J.
The ceremony was performed
Nov. 30at Anthony's in Buckhead,
with Rabbi Fred Davidow offici
ating.
The bride's sister, Marcy Can
non of Colorado Springs, was the
matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Stephanie Rickies of Atlanta,
Anne Schiller of Washington, D.C..
and Lori (Lash) Samuels of Talla
hassee, Fla. Grandparents of the
bride, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Stanger
of Miami, were also in attendance.
The bridegroom’s brother. Mar
tin Osinski of Miami, was best-
man. Ushers were Gary Kohn of
New York City, brother of the
bride, David Abrams of Washing
ton, D.C., and Richard Grimaldi
of Atlanta.
Mrs. Osinski graduated from
the University of Florida with a
bachelor of science degree in busi-

Mr. Osinski has a bachelor of
arts degree in journalism and a
master’s degree in business admin
istration (marketing) from the
University of Miami. He is the

After a honeymoon in Ocho
Rios, Jamaica, the couple lives in
Dunwoody.
Miss Kerker marries Dr. Arkin
Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence Arkin
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob L. Kerker
of Atlanta announce the marriage
of their daughter, Lisa Jan, to Dr.
Lawrence Michael Arkin, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Murray C. Arkin of
Savannah. The ceremony w»as per
formed on March 16, with Rabbi
Alvin Sugarman officiating.
The bride is the granddaughter
of Mrs. Rose Maloof of Atlanta
and the late Thomas Maloof, and
the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Kerker.
The bridegroom is the grandson
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Alper
of Chicago, and the late Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Arkin of Savannah
The bride’s sister, Cindy lsaf,
was matron of honor. Dr. Eva
Arkin, Susan Duberstein, and Tami
Haddad, all of Atlanta, Anchelle
Berman of Augusta, and Lori Cohen
of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., served as
bridesmaids.
The bridegroom’s brothers, Dr.
David Arkin and Jonathan Arkin,
were best men. Steve lsaf and Jeff
Kerker of Atlanta, Carl Berman of
Augusta, Steven Rubin of Savan
nah, and Stuart Tuck of Cleve
land, Ohio, were groomsmen.
The bride, a Riverwood High
School graduate, received her
bachelor of science degree in radio-
logic technologies with a concen
tration in management from the
Medical College of Georgia. Lisa
graduated cum laude and was
elected to Who’s Who in American
Universities and Colleges and Alpha
Eta National Honor Society.
The bridegroom graduated from
the University of Georgia magna
cum laude with a bachelor of science
degree in microbiology. He was
elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Phi
Kappa Phi and Phi Eta Sigma
National Honor Societies. Dr.
Arkin recently graduated from the
medical college of Georgia School of
Medicine and was elected to Alpha
Omega Alpha Medical Honor
Society.
After completing a year of inter
nal medicine in Savannah, Dr.
Arkin will begin an opthalmology
residency in Baltimore.
The Arkins honeymooned in
Hawaii
Ashendorf-Sablosky
Dorothy Sablosky and Ike
Ashendorf announce their marriage
on May 26.
The newlyweds live in Charlotte.
