presented to nearly 200 people, at
the Academy’s Capital Fund Cam

concept of the building through
artistic renderings, a scale working
model and floor plans. “We have
tried to create a facility which is
lasting, unique, stimulating, tun
and purposeful." he said, “a build
ing which is neither faddish nor
ordinary. We will establish an image
which says how special this school
is The Hebrew Academy of Tomor

Iosters the thirst for learning and it
will be a place clearly designed lor
kids It will transmit a knowledge
ol why it is there...a school yes, but
above and beyond that, a Jewish
school where traditions and faith
are transmitted naturally from
one generation to another."
The architects have also been
careful to design a building which
will enhance and interact with the
beautiful site on which the facility
will be located. The building will
wrap around a natural ridge to
Iramc choice views ol the site and
create a special courtyard space.
Another “bonus" to the building
will be an amphitheater carved
into the hillside for outdoor in-
struction. drama presentations, play
oi worship.
Other major elements included
in the school arc a library/media
center with a group activity room

ly reduced by the incorporation of
three separate entrances to the
building. The design has also in
corporated space for future ex

I omorrow a reality, according to
David Minkin, general chairman
ol the Capital Funds Campaign.
