B’nai Torah Sisterhood to host shopping spree
The B’nai Torah Sisterhood in
vites the community to a “Shop
ping Spree at Loehmann’s” on
Highway 41 from 6-9 p.m. Mon
day, Sept. 8. The store will be open
through special arrangement.
All purchases made during the
evening will be paid for by check to
B’nai Torah. Refreshments will be
served. There will be a $5 donation

ABJE presents 1986-87 special education program
The Atlanta Bureau of Jewish
Education announces the continu
ation of its special education pro
grams for the 1986-87 academic
year. For over 15 years the bureau
has provided programming for spe
cial needs students of all ages. The
Special Education Department has
two sections to serve the Atlanta
community. Havanah (understand
ing). creates a positive and helpful
atmosphere in which mentally dis
abled students can study and learn
about their Jewish heritage. Amit
(friendship) provides an environ
ment for learning disabled students

to have luncheon
The Atlanta Chapter City of
Hope will hold its opening fall lun
cheon at noon Monday, Sept. 8, at
Holiday Inn, 4386Chamblee-Dun-

ist, will be the speaker. There will
be a raffle drawing for a television
set and a Mr. Coffee coffee maker,
and door prizes will be given.
