ried Sept. 7 to Dean Harris Eisner,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Eisner
of Pittsfield, Mass. Both families
are former residents of New Canaan.
Conn. The ceremony took place at
Stonehenge in Ridgefield, Conn.
Catherine Jane Leuthold was
her sister’s maid of honor. Murray
Richard Eisner was his son’s best
man.
The bride is a real estate market
ing specialist at Douglas Elliman
in Manhattan. She graduated cum
laude from Georgetown Universi
ty’s School of Languages and Lin
guistics and has spent time in
China and France continuing her
language studies. Her father is the
chief executive and principal of
Leuthold Associates Inc. of New
York City.
The bridegroom, who graduated
from Purdue University and re
ceived his master of business ad
ministration degree from the Uni
versity of Michigan, is director of
international marketing and finance
at CBS International Publishing.

Electric. His father is president of
Shaeffer Easton, a division of Tex
tron Industries. His grandmother,
Lillian Zaban, lives in Atlanta.

were married July 22 in Tel Aviv.
The ceremony was performed by
the uncle of the bridegroom.
The bride is the daughter of
Michael and Etti Alon of Atlanta.
The bridegroom is the son of Tzi-
ona and Refael Mizrachi of Petach
Tikva, Israel.
A reception and dinner followed.
The couple honeymooned in
Caesarea.
They will live in Israel.

St. Petersburg, Fla., announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Sarah Beryl, of Savannah, to John
Hart Epstein of Savannah, son of
Mr. and Mrs. George Epstein of
Los Angeles.
A graduate of Savannah High
School, Ms. Kaplan received a
bachelor of arts degree in English
literature from the University of
Pennsylvania. She is self-employed
as a food stylist.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Louis Sacks of Los
Angeles, the late Mrs. Mary Toom-
er of Savannah and the late Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Kaplan of Savannah.
Mr. Epstein, a graduate of Mira-
leste High School in Palos Verdes,
Calif., received a bachelor of arts
degree in international relations
from the University of Colorado
and a master of business adminis
tration degree from the Wharton
School of Business at the Univer
sity of Pennsylvania. He is em
ployed by Southeastern Develop
ment Group.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Max
Hart field and the late Mr. Hart-
field and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Epstein, all of Los Angeles.
A Nov. 2 wedding is planned at
Temple Mickve Israel in Savannah.

Althea Lee marries Stephen Wolf
Althea Adrian Lee and Stephen
Elliott Wolf were married Aug. 30
in Hoboken, N.J. Mayor Thomas
Vizetti officiated in an outdoor
ceremony overlooking the NYC
skyline.
The bride is the daughter of Jim
and Helen Lee and granddaughter
of Dorothy Figen. The bridegroom’s
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin O.
Wolf of Chapel Hill, N.C.
Miss Lee, a graduate of Georgia
Tech, is a product designer with
Sharp Electronics Corp., Osaka,
Japan, currently based in Mah-
wah, N.J.
Mr. Wolf, a graduate of the
California College of Arts and
Crafts, is a senior designer for
Saatchi and Saatchi Compton, in a
New York City. After a honey
moon in England and Wales, the
couple will live in Hoboken.
