BBW plans workshop on television training
B’nai B’rith Women will be
beginning a new project, Televi
sion Training Workshop, with
Atlanta Channel 12, the commun
ity service cable station. The course
will cover running the camera,
lighting, sound, taking directions
from the director, production and
script writing.
There will be day and evening
workshops, times to be arranged,
but B’nai B’rith Women must have
a minimum of 10 people for each
workshop. Cost is $10 a person.
When the course is completed,
B’nai B’rith Women will then have
the opportunity to write, produce
and star in several half-hour seg
ments to be presented on this
channel.

The third annual nationwide
Jewish Singles Supercruise, spon
sored by the St. Louis Jewish Com
munity Centers Association, is set
for February and March 1987,
aboard the m/s Tropicale of Car
nival Cruise Lines.
Jewish singles, 20-40, will sail on
Feb. 22, singles 40-60 on March 1.
The Tropicale sails from Los
Angeles to the Mexican ports of
Mazatlan; Puerto Vallarta; and
Cabo San Lucas. Approximately
one day is spent in each port with
three full days at sea. For more

United Synagogue Singles pres
ents two 12-day trips to Israel,
departing Dec. 24, and returning
Jan. 4.
One, for singles 22-35, will in
clude touring in the Negev desert,
and a stay at the winter resort of
Eilat. Cost is $1,199 a person
(double occupancy).
The second trip, for singles 35-
60, will offer a chance to tour Israel
in style, and will include special
events with Israeli singles, a New
Year’s Eve Gala, and five-star ac
commodations. The cost is $1,499
per person (double occupancy).
