Vickie Lobel and Robert Beton wed
Vickie Lobel and Robert Beton,
both of Atlanta, were married June
1 at Ahavath Achim Synagogue.
Rabbi Arnold Goodman, Rabbi
Robert Ichay and Cantor Isaac
Goodfriend officiated. A reception
and dinner followed.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David Lobel of Atlanta.
Grandparents are Mrs. Celia Lobel
and the late Louis Lobel, and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Rohald.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Beton of Atlanta.
Grandparents are Mrs. Juana Habib
of Atlanta and the late Behor Habib
and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Beton.
Matron of honor was Robyn
Lobel Speert, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Wendy Lobel,
Joy Hoffman, Miriam Lachman,
Sharon Oxman, Andree Adair,
Ginger Pomerance and Malkah
Hochman. The bride’s book was
kept by Blair Schiffman.
Best man was Robert Beton,
uncle of the bridegroom. Grooms
men were A1 Beton, Scot Lobel,
David Benator, Jay Bernath, David
Falkenstein, Alan Soloman, Leon
Egozi and John Henry.
Dr. Beton is a graduate of Emory
Medical School and is doing his
residency in Hartford, Conn.
Mrs. Beton is employed with
Hartford Lung Physicians. After a
honeymoon in the Caribbean, the
couple lives in Hartford.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beton
Susan Held, Robert Goldstein marry
Susan Ilene Held, daughter of
Charles and Charlotte Held of
Miami, and Robert Stone Gold
stein, son of Howard and Erma
Goldstein of Livingston, N.J. were
married Saturday, July 5, at the
Doral Hotel in Miami Beach.
Lynn Feldman of New York
City was maid of honor. Brides
maids were Jane Gandolfo of Lin
coln Park, N.J., and Randi Serrins
of New York City, sisters of the
bridegroom; Terri Dew and Lori
Estroff, both of Atlanta and cou
sins of the bride; and Ellyn Okrent
of Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.
Evan Gevarter of Weehawken,
N.J., was best man. Groomsmen
were Jeffrey Held of Miami and
Michael Held of San Diego, broth
ers of the bride; John Gandolfo of
Lincoln Park and Richard Serrins
of New York City, brothers-in-law
of the bridegroom; Steven Horo
witz of Atlanta, cousin of the bride;
Randi Aronoff of Livingston, N. J.,
and Alan Brechbill of Chicago.
The bride graduated from Duke
University and received her master

Following a honeymoon to

wood, N.J
