Janis and Jerry Fields of At
lanta announce the engagement
of their son, Andrew Wayne, to
Lisa Melman, daughter of Su
zanne Melman and the late Ber
nard Melman, all of Oklahoma
City, Okla.
Miss Melman is the grand
daughter of the late Ida and Jerry
Leberson of Oklahoma, and the
late Pauline and Charles Mayer
of Dallas, Texas. She graduated
from Oklahoma City University
with a bachelor of science degree
in elementary education. She is
employed by Lancome Cosmet
ics as a consultant.
Mr. Fields is the grandson of
Moses Leff of Atlanta and the
late Bessie Leff, and the late
Anna and Larry Fields of Atlanta.
He attended the University of
Georgia where he was a member
of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity.
He is employed with Park Lane
Associates in Oklahoma.
A February 1987 wedding is
planned in Oklahoma.

Scholar. He received an MBA
degree from NYU and is employed
in the corporate finance depart
ment of Kidder Peabody and
Company in New York.
Amy Sue Berns, daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Donald Berns of
Albany, N.Y., became the bride
of Alex Weiss Goldstein, son of
Dr. and Mrs. Martin I. Goldstein
of Atlanta, at the Harrison Jew
ish Center in Harrison, N.Y.
The bride is a third-year law
student at the New York Univer
sity School of Law. She gradu
ated magna cum laude from New
York University where she was
elected to Phi Beta Kappa and
designated a University Scholar.
