ter. Barbara Lynn, to Joshua
David Rockwell, son of Herbert
Rockwell of Boca Raton, Fla.,
and Mrs. Elen Schwartz of Bequia.

The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Lastick of Philadelphia, and the
late Hilda Lastick, and the late
Jack Rothenberg of Atlanta.
M iss Rothenberg graduated
from the University of Georgia.

She is a sales representative for
The Southern Israelite.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of Mrs. Regina Rock
well of North Miami, and the late
Sidney Rockwell, and the late
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Bailyn of
Weehauken, N.J.
Mr. Rockwell graduated from
American University. He is an
investment broker for Bear Stearns
and Company Inc.
An April 1987 wedding is
planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Pike
announce the marriage of their
daughter, Andrea Beth, to Law
rence Mark Merlin, son of Dr.
and Mrs. Harvey E. Merlin.
The wedding was performed
Aug. 24 at The Temple, with
Rabbi Alvin Sugarman officia
ting.
The bride is the granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Pasik of
Hallandale, Fla., and Mrs. A.
Pike of Andover, Mass. The
bridegroom is the grandson of
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Turner, and
Israel L. Merlin, all of Atlanta.
Matron of honor was Susan
Pike, sister of the bride. Brides
maids were Elaine Caffrey, Pam
Aronovitz, Nance Merlin, Jenifer
Orenstein, Patti Pike and Debbie
Gerstein.
The bridegroom's brother. Dr.
Stephen Merlin, was best man.
Groomsmen were Robert Wild-
stein, Jason Orenstein, Greg
Orenstein, Steven Pike, Curtis
Coggin, Brian Berson and David
Ginburg.
The bride graduated from
Emory University and attended
graduate school at Georgia State
University. She is an audit officer
for the First National Bank of
Atlanta.
The bridegroom graduated
from the University of Georgia
and is a maritime law review
graduate of Tulane University
School of Law. He is a an attor
ney with the law firm of Trout
man. Sanders, Lockerman and
Ashmore.
The couple lives in Marietta.

Mr. Capouya is the grandson

The bride-elect is a graduate of
Vanderbilt University’s School
of Engineering, where she was
coordinator of the Vanderbilt
Prison Project and a member of
the Student Government Asso
ciation. She is employed by H BO
& Company as a documentation
specialist.
The future bridegroom gradu
ated witha bachelor of industrial
design degree from Auburn Uni
versity, where he was a photo
grapher and editor for the Auburn
Circle. He is design director at
Abrams Fixture Corporation in
Atlanta.
A December wedding is planned
at Congregation Or VeShalom.

Mrs. Joyce W. Harris of At
lanta announces the engagement
of her daughter, Toby Gail, to
Ronald A. Shure, son of Jerome
and Betty Shure of Norfolk, Va.
Toby is also the daughter of the
late Henry S. Harris.
Ms. Harris earned a bachelor
of arts degree from the Univer
sity of Washington, and an A.T.A.
in legal assistance from Edmonds
Community College. She is the
granddaughter of the late Jennie
and Julius Wender of Atlanta,
and the late Lottie and Mike
Gottlieb, and the late Jessie Har
ris, all of Norfolk.
Mr. Shure graduated from the
Medical College of Virginia with
a bachelor of science degree in
pharmacy. He is the grandson of
the late Hyman and Leah Shure,
and the late Lottie and Mike
Gottlieb and the late Anna Gott
lieb, all of Norfolk.
The wedding will take place in
Norfolk on March 29, 1987.
