Somebody Jins written the following
about the girls and sot it afloat:
God bless the girls,
whoso golden curls
Blend with our evening dreams;
Thoy haunt onv lives
Bike spirit wives,
Or—as naiads haunt the streams.
- They soothe our pains,
They till our brains
With dreams of summer hours,
God bless tho girls,
God bless their curls,
God bless our human flowers.
Tho wives, tve think, aro quite ns de

tore, we submit thu following:—£r-
'"od Mess the wives,
They fill our hives
With little bees and honey ;
They enso life’s shocks,
Thoy mend our socks,
lint—don’t they spend the money?
When wo ore sick,
They heal tis quick—
That i-, if they should love us,
If not, wo die.
And yet they cry,
And place tombstones ubovo ui».

But wives—true wives—
Throughout our lives,

Tho two-third rule was reported, in
