The Vecnoring on the drawers was n little
warped : the look works very well, and

three story building with shingle roof. In all
adjoining room, with only u plastered parti
tion, u drug store was kept, and immediately
opposite where my safe was setting there was

ing was connected with til l Patterson Hotel
on" one side mid wns within six feet of the
Court House on the other, witli a largo pile
of wood between my office and' tho Court

mediately from the wood. There was also a
small frame buildiiig attached to the rear of
tho Drugstore, with oils, mints, nml liquors
in it. and a glass door lading into my oflico
from it. You will rcc at once tho excessive
heat created at and about it. 1 regard It

ing'thut my papers would havo bean pre
served if l had left them in the safe.
