Tho* Tyler Rcportor, of tho 7th, says
that a report has just rouohod thoro
that Bellcviow, in Rusk county, was
burned on tho night of tho 4th
ult.
Tho same paper says that Dangerfiold,
in Titus county, is burned.
At Athens, Henderson county, a well
was discovered to bo poisoned on Sun
day night, the 5th inst., find over 100
bottles of strychnine wns found in jhis-
session of negroes. On examination tho
plot was brought lo light, which Wns to
poison as many as possible at breakfast,
and then the knife and tho pistol, with
which they wero well supplied, Woro to
do tho balance or the work. All the
old women and young children woro to
be murdered, and tho young women
wero to bo taken as wives by the boll
hounds.
A patrol of one hundred 111011 is on
duty every night in Tyler, and this has
thus far saved that town.
A stable, belonging to John T. Car
lisle. in Athens, was burfted by an in-
cetidiary’on tho evoning of the Oth.
A negro belonging to Mr. Barron, at
.Science Hill, Henderson county, was

found indds possession, and ho having
confessed to having a hand in tho insur*

count of a plot to poison tho whole
community on election day. Poison
was found in tho possession of several

plots lutd been discovered in Anderson
and Henderson counties.
Ono or two fires lmvo lately occurred
in Galveston, which aro plainly attribu
table to nogro incendiaries. Tho female
