Art. 1. This. Sooioty shall bo known
us the Floyd county .Soldiers' Aid So
doty.
Art. 2. The oftloors of this Associa
tion shall bo a President, 4 Via-Presi
dents, and a iScerutarv, who sliali also
lie Treasurer of the Sooioty.
Aht. 3. Objects of tide Socity *ludl
be to procure contribution* in money,
clothing, or material for clothing, and
provision* for the sick. All of which
shall bo used and expended for the
Volunteer Soldier* who havo or who
may leave thi* county, and shall ho ac
tually engaged in Virginia or else whera,
in tlio army mid service* of tho Confed
erate States of America, provided it is
understood to Ik* tlie object, to furnish
only those wiio are not ublo of them
selves, or by their friends, to obtain
tlio necessary supplies.
