produced the great scarcity of money
that so much is said about. There is
about the same amount of money as
usual in the country. It has not been
burnt, hut people who have'it, pretend
to have uquo, for fear somebody will
want to borrow, and they are deter
mined not to loan with the stay law
hanging ovor it.

cases without trial, passed. The House

Confederate Senators on Tuesday, 10th,
was passed.
Hors*.—Sevoral new bills were in
troducod, and tho bill in relation to
legalizing the extra tax lovied in th
various counties, after considerable
discussion, was laid over until Mon
day.

This company has received orders to
march to tho coast. Tho company now
numbers 54 men on roll—as they go for
*ix months, and can receive 80 nton
tills will be a good opportunity for
great many that could not go undor
other circumstances. Thoj have to
take thoir own arms, and any person
having a good country riflo or double
barrelled shot gun, that doos not in
tend to go himself, would bo doing the
company a great service by giving or

There are at least two hundred more
men reported for duty, now, in our

quite as bad as those of tho summer
