Xiyteu Oil ef Idle.
We publish today an advertisement of
this popular Medicina. The following is
what the Mon^omsrj-Mail saysof it; .
We once more call the attention ef oar
readers to the wonderful remedy now being,
sold in ear midst and known as the On. OP
Lies. Ik is undoubtedly 'the best- remedy
of its kind extant; we have used it and re
ceived great benefit therefrom. Anattachee
of our office states the tame, and if any one
who has used the Oil op Live without
getting relief and benefft, we have jet to
see that person. As the On. of Lite will
not be offered much longer to our citizens,
we recommend those who have notobtaiaed
a bottle, to do sa at once, and, our word for
it, they will not regret it.
W*The Radical thieves nowqnartered
on tha Treasury have fallen out by the way
side, and the public is likely soon to be fa
vored with some edifying developments.—
The Macon American Union, red hot car
pet-bag Radical, in commenting on .toe cor
rupt interest held by Bryant k Co., in the
profits of the State Printing, says:
Wo have a pretty large size cat in a
mighty sorry bag, that may get out yet, if
folks don’t stop scaring it so. A word to
the wise is sufficient This printing fraud
is what first opened onr eyes to the corrupt
notions of Bryant. If there is anything he
will hot do for money, we should like him,
or some of his friends to tell us what it is;
and Sam Bard is about two degrees worse
than Bryant
That is Tour Opinion.—Congress baa
adopted a resolution declaring th. late am
nesty proclamation unwarranted by the
constitution and ef no effect. That may ha
their opinion, bat they happen mot to be the
power to pass upon the legalty of the action
of the other departments. They might as
well declare that a decision ef the Supreme
Court is not law. WeThink president John
son, if he thought proper to indulge in that
species of warfore, might point to a good
many of the present Congress that are un
authorized by the constitution and ought to
be declared null and void^by somebody.

seeds; the remainder coated u thick as 'a knife
blade. So many children hays died around here
I was afraid to call a physieian, and thought I
would try your Plain .KHler for a gargle, with
small doses inwardly. I did so, and found the
gargle invariably cat ofifvoelcles^ and he raised

used f >oe a liniment, with castoroilaad harts-

cure, and X.can but wish it eboldbe known to
many poor mothers :ih our land who are losing
so many children by this dreadful disease.
I have found your Pain Killer one of the most
valuable medicines ever used in Bonnah. Once *

. A Novel Method of Catching Micz.
—A correspondent of the Joarntl of Phar
macy says: Having on several occasions
noticed mice in onr seed barrels,I bethougk.t
me of some method hsv I might trap tbe
little intruderz, they having mitrance b f
eating through the chime. To kill thr a
with a stick vai impracticable, as the Sttla
fellowi would invariably eicape as soon
the lid was raised to any height. 1 then
thought of saturating a pace of eottoa with
chloroform and throwing it in,than closing
the Hd. On raising it again in a few min
ntes, I would find that life had almost or
quite departed. Having on one occasion
left the poet of cotton in- tbe barrel, on
again returning, found three mice with their
heads in close contact with it, and dead. In
the evening I saturated another piece and
placed in the barrel, and on opening it
next morning, to my surprise I found nine
dead mice.

Thb Position op Georgia.—Since the
Electoral vote of Georgia was received and
coanted by Congress, the Radicals them-
selves arc sorely puzzled to determine the
status of Georgia. The New York Tribune
says:
“The judgment of the Reconstruction
Committee is still against the Georgia
Representatives until the State shall have
more fully complied with the reconstruction
acts; although, in the miads of aiany, the
fact that Georgia has been allowed to vote
for President seems to carry with it
acknowledgement of har right to represen
tation in Cocgresa.”
Such would be tbe decision in any court
of justice. We hop the farce will cease.
