IN' the Superior C.ourt, March Term,
1820. On the,petition of Isham Fuller,
stating that he was possessed of two pro
missory notes, one of which was given by
Lemuel Shipp, for three hundred and se
venty-five dollars, made payable on the
25th day of December 1819, to Isham
Fuller or bearer, and dated the —day
of —.— 1817. The other of said notes, was
given also by Lemuel Shipp, for one hun
dred and eighty-seven dollars and fifty
cents, made payable on the 25th day of
December 1819. to Ishum Fuller or bear
er, and dated the day of—— 1818.
A copy of said notes as near as the peri*
tioner could recollect and annexed ti said
petition >6 now filed in he clerk’s office,
together with an affidavit pursuant to the
act of the February, 1781, that the
said notes were lost or destroyed, and
praying the benefit intended by said act,
and other circumstantial proqf being laid
before the Court. It is ordered that the
said notes of hand be established as direc
ted by said act,* on the said Isham Fuller,
publishing a notice as therein required/
and for the space of six months in one of
the public (lazettes of this State, unless
cause be shown to the contrary within'the
said six months or other matter shall ap
pear to the court against the same.
