UPON the petition of John Wynne, stat
ing he was possessed of a note so
hand made by Robert f. Kent, to him for
ninety dollars, bearing-date on the
day of ■ 1818, and that the said note
of hand has been lost pr mislaid, so that
• (he same cannot now be obtained, and
praying that a copy as said note which is
1 annexed to his said petition may be estab
i lished in lieu of the said original, in terms
of the act of the General Assembly and the
' rules of court, in such oases made, provid-.
ed, and established ; —and the said peti
lion.being supported by affidavit! it is or
dered, that a copy be established in
lieu of the original so lost or mislaid, a-,
greeably to the prayer of the petitioner
unless sufficient cause be shewn to the

VT ILL Be given for JOHN, tlie car
riage driver, a tali yellow, very artful and
likely fellow, of 22 years old, of a coarse
voice, had on when lie went off, a glazed
leather hat, dark homespun pantaloons and
a round jacket, either of blue cloth or
striped bomspun. John being unwilling
to be left at a summer residence in Fair
Reid District, South Carolina; took on tlie
eleventh instant one of his masters earn
age horses, took also a spare bridle rounc
his shoulders and made his escape to go,

Swamp, St Peter’s Parish, S. Caroliim-

Granby ferry below Columbia. He then
rode the same large bay horse on which
he made his escape, the horse both trot*
and paces, a star in bis forehead, his hind
feet or pastern joints appear as if they
were swelled, and it is believed he lias

reward will be given for tlie horse. It u
presumed John will endeavour to inuki
