Windham Bilious Pills,
OR
TamVVs i
THESE celebrated Fills have been (
in extensive use for alioul thirtj ,
years, and have now become the most ,
common Family Medicine of any in the j
U. States.
The very great reputation these Pills ,
have gained all over the United States,
West-Indies,and elsewhere, has induced
cert <in j ersons to make and vend otiiei
Fills, which they call Lee’s Fills, and
they are often passed off as the genuim
Lei's Windham Pills.
The Proprietors have lately taken,
they hope, an ri actual step to guard tin
public against Icing imjjoscd on by Spa
riant Pills.
The dirertim paper which goes with
oac h box of the Genuine Pills, is always
signed by Charles Lee of Windham, and
on the outside of the envelope is Perkins’
Stereotype Label, and also an extra La
bel printed with red ink, and with h i;
signed by Isaac 'i hompson of New-Lon
don, in his own hand ir riling. if purcha
sers will lie careful to notice these
“ Tests'' they will tie, sure of obtaining
tin Genuine Lee’s 1 ills, but not other
wise.
The»c valuable Pills are particularly
serviceable in Bilious and Yellow Fevers,
jhtUMnni hi rers the first stages ol Fever
f 4 ,iguc, Worms in Children , Jaundice,
Headache and may always he used to ad
vantage whenever a Cathartic medicine
is necessary.
Qj’ I’rom a sense of duty to the pub

Genuine Pills, I do hereby warm the pub
lic against certain persons cl the name
of CROSBY, who are said to he travel

ine Windham Lee’s Dilinus Pills. 1 find
these men have had the audacity testate
that they are my agents. I have long
known their characters two well. They
are not, nor ever have been, agents of
mine, nor have they ever been entrusted
by me with any of said Pills.
Every person on inspec tion will notice
that the Pills they offer, have not on the
outside of the wrapper, the "Tests"
printed in red ink and signed by me in my
own hand writing —and that the Bills of
Directions to the Spurious Pills are not
signed by Charles Lee, as the Genuine
ones are.
%* The Printers in the Western and
Southern States, could not confer a grea

giving this advert soment a few insertio a
