Postponed.
IN consequence of the Races taking
place at Charleston ou the
Jocky Club of Augusta, have thought it
expedient to postpone the commencement
of the Races in this place until the last
TUESDAY in February, therefore,
THE Augusta Jockey Club Races
will commence ou the last Tuesday
in February next, (25th day,) free for
any horse, mare or gelding on the conti
nent.
First day’s running, four mile heats, for
a purse of S6OO,
?d day, 3 mile heats, for a purse of S4OO.
3rd day, 2 mile heats, fora purse of S3OO.
The Proprietor pledges himself that
