ia, and for the last eight or nine years
has conducted the Academy in Williams
boro in North Carolina. The Trustees
have the highest assurances from several
respectable gentlemen in both the above
states of Mr, Rhed, eminent qualifications
as an instructor ofyoult—He will be as
sisted in tlie Male Department bv his son,
a young gentleman ->t Classical Education,
and in the Female Department by his
Daughter—Board including Mashing
and Lodging may be obtained in private
families in Lexington at from one hundred
to one hundred and twenty dollars por
•iinmm and in tlie country within less titan
a mile of the Academy at from ninly toane

The healthiness of the situation, the
