cess heretofore in tbe management of such
persons afflicted will find it to their interest to give

may at least mitigate their eufiering*.
Those especially laboring under Liver Complaint,
Dyspepsia, Rheumatism, Lumbago, Splenitis, *Bron-
chctis, Cough, Erysipelatous affections, Scrofiula,
Leprosy, Trtter, Syphilis Go norhea Gleet, Tic Dou
loureux, Hysteria, Falser, Epilepsy, Chorea,Dropsy,
Amenorhea, Prolapsus Uteri, Ac. Ac., Piles, Hernia,
Calculi of the Bladder, Ulcers, Hydrocele, Ac., would
do well to consult him.
Dr. N. will remove all cases of Syphalilic taint
from tho system, and warrant them, no cure no pay.
Persons living at a distance, who are afflicted,
would do well to call in person, if not convenient, by
communicating, post paid, with Dr. Nichols, giving
symptoms, Ac., and enclosing the foe, $10, can re
ceive directions for the management of their eases.

T HE petition of Nancy Caldwell, respectfully
i-hewetli, tint on tlie 22d dav of July, in the
year of our Lnrd eighteen hundred and forty-three,
Jacob Watson executed bis certain Mortgage to
Robert N. Taylor, wherein he conveyed to said R.
N. Taylor, certain lots of land, to wit: 136, one
hundred and thirty-six; 162, one hundred and fifty-
two; 153, one hundred and fifty-three; 168, one
hundred and sixty-eight; 169, one hundred and six
ty-nine, each containing two hundred two and one-
half acres, more or less; tlie cast ball' of lot number
one hundred and filly-four, and the south half of lot
number one hundred and seventy—each of said half
lots containing one hundred one and a fourth acres,
all In the third District of said county. For the
consideration five dollars to said Watson then in
hand, paid by tlie said Taylor, as well as the better
securing the payment of a promissory note, given
by said Watson to said Taylor, or bearer, for the
payment of tho sum of twenty-two hundred and for
ty dollars, one on or before tlie first day of January,
eighteen hundred and forty-five, (last past) and
which note was dated the twenty-second day of
July, 1643
Your |ieiltioncr further shews, tliat afterwards to
wit: on the day and year aforesaid, said note and
mortgage were transferred to your petitioner for a
valuable consideration, by said Taylor, and that the
same have never boon paid, nor any part thereof to
your |H’titloner, nor any one else legally authorized
to receive lAymcnt.
Wherefore, your petitioner prays a perpetual fore
closure of said mortgage, unless said Jncob Watson
shall, on or before tlie next term ol this Court, pay
the amount of principal, interest, and cost on said
note and mortgage.
