action of business, they are not surpass

INDIAN SPRING
RESERVE.
IX conformity to an act of the Legis
lature of the 22<1 day of December,
iast, “to dispose ot the Mclntosh lU
serves in the county of Butts,” the un
dersigned Commissioners have had the
Oi niulgee Reserve laid oil’ into “ four
lots as nearlv square as practicable,”
embracing 530 acres, and have ascer
tained, that there will be thirty two lots
of two acres, on the Indian Spring Re
serve—l 4 do. of 4 acres—lo do. of 20
■ ores, and 16 do of 30 acres—total 72
lots. They will therefore offer for sale,
on Monday the 21st day of April next,
the 4 lots of the Ocmulgee R-serve, at
the house of Mr. Alexander, on said
land, and invite the attention of all
those who wish to purchase valuable
lands. And on the next da;, Tuesday
the 22d of April, they will commence
selling the lots at the Indian Springs, on
that reserve, beginning on the 2 acr
lots, then the 4, and so on, in tegular
order, until alfare sold.
The two acre lot no. 2, has on it a
large house 74 feet by 50, built for a
Tavern, with a kitchen and out houses—
There are also other lots that have hons
es or summer tents, calculated for tent
or occupancy the ensuing season.
The sales will be made each day un- j
til all are sold, between 10 and 2 o’clock,!
and one fifth of the amount ofthe pur
chase money must be paid on the day of
sale, in terms of the law, and the bal<
ance in “font equal annual instalments.”

Col. Baley,at the Springs for the inspec
tion of all persons who may call
It is expected by the Commissioners,
that the advantages, of the village con
templated at the Indian Springs, in ihe
use of Mineral Water, and oilier pros
pects of health, ought and will bring to
