AGREEABLY to an Order of the
hon. the Inferior Court of Bibb
county, will be sold in the town of Ma
rion, Twiggs county,on the first Tuesday
in May next, when sitting for ordinary
purposes, the real estate of John Davis,
deceased, (except the widows dower)
consisting of the following lots of land,
viz. No. 90, a part of no. 91, no. 68, and
fifty acres of lot no. 89, all lying in the
seventh district of formerly Baldwin,
now Twiggs county, including that
beautiful settlement of pine land, lying
on Stone Creek, whereon the adminis

The Court-House of Troup County.
ON Monday, the fifth day of May
next, wail be sold, on the premi
ses, to the highest bidder, all the Lots in
the town of La Grange, Troup county.
The situation is beautiful and health v—
having good springs convenient, and in
the centre of the county, being on lot
No. 109, in the fifth district, which con
tains a body of good laud, equal to any
in the new purchase. The neighborhood
is already, considerably settled. To
those who wish a residence in La Grange
or to purchase appropriate lots for busi
ness, this will be the most favotable op
portunity, being the only sales that will
be made.
The terms of sale will be, one-fourth
in hand, the remainder in three equal
annual payments.

will take place on the sth day of May
next. Persons wishing to purchase
would do well to attend. The situation
has every flattering and possible pros
pect of health, that can be found in any
part of the country. The terms of sale
will be one-eighth in hand on the day of
sale—one-eighth on the ttventy-lifth day
of December next, and the other in three
equal annual instalments from the twen
ty-fifth of December next; bond with
approved security will he required, and
if any one payment should not be punc
tually made, the property is to be sub
ject to the controul of the court of said
county. Titles to be executed to pur
chasers as soon as the last payment is
made.
