have employed Mrs. Tick nor to
take charge of the same during the
present year. The qualifications of this
lady as a teacher, are too well known to.
the public to require the tribute of our
praise. As she has been engaged in the
business of teaching in this State for
many years, and has given universal sat
isfaction, the Trustees are confident that
no one could be procured who is more
deserving of the esteem and patronage
of the people. Airs. King, a lady who
is well acquainted with the business of
teaching, and whose qualifications ato’
undoubted, is employed in the Acade
my with Mrs. Tieknor.
In addition to the ordinary branches
of education, instruction will be given
in Lace Work, according to the most,
approved fashions: also, Painting on
Sattin and Velvet, by theorems.
