months. Parents and guardians who
may entrust their children and wards to
his care may rely upon his paying every
attention to their maimers, morals, and

The following branches will be taught

ing, Arithmetick, English Grammar, O
ratory, Geography, and the use of the

nometry, Algebra, Surveying and Na
vigation. The Latin and Greek Lan
guages will he taught, not only the mi
nor Books, but the highest Classical
authors of Greek and Roman Literature.
To the above will be added, Book Keep
ing, History, llhetorick, Logic, and Mo
ral Philosophy. Scholars w ill be well
fitted to enter two years in advance, in
Franklin College, at Athens, or in any
other College.
Those who have not the means, or in- 1
cliuation for obtaining a Collegiate edit- I
cation, can here pursue any single !
branch of study, or obtain general know- j
ledge necessary for commencing the !
study of a learned profession. For the ‘
benefit of such as may come from the j
country, means will be used to obtain
boarding for them on the most reasona
ble terms. The Academy is finished in
the handsomest style, and most accom
modating to scholars anil teachers : and
an Assistant will be employed whenever
it shall become necessary. It is fondly
hoped, that the superior advantages this
Institution offers will insure it a large
portion of public patronage.
