themselves warranted In saying that they
can accommodate Travellers or Boarders,
individuals or families, in a style equal to
any house in the up-country. No expense
by which (hey can add to the improvement
of the bouse, table or bar will be spared.

and so horses left in their care. Horse and

THE undersigned lias procured a
Mti am-ltoat, (the North-Caroli
iia) to run between Macon, Savaniurli,
and Charleston, during the approaching
boating season. The North Carolina s
a staunch, gopd boat, has recently un
dergone a thorough repair, and is excel
led by few in speed. She will take freight
to and friuii,either place. From her con
struction and easy draft of water, it is
believed site will meet.with no difficulty
in coming to Mavr.n whoever Ike river is
at its ordinary t boating height. When
it is net in such a state as to admit of
her reaching Macon, she will be met
with such lighter?) as will have no diffi
culty in getting up— >o that merchan
dise shipped by hes vyill not be detained
on the riv'Cf, on account of sow water.—
There is no doubt that by this arrange
ment, the ijpace of time heretofore con
sumed iu transporting merchandize be
tween Miicim and those places will be
shortened f least one half—and its no
exertions will be spared to make a safe
and expeditious inode of transportation,
it is therefore hoped nntJ expected, that
those desirous of seeing so desirable an
object effected, and particularly those
interested in the prosperity of Macpn,
will patronise tins undertaking. The
North-Carolina will leave Charleston
on her first trip, about the first Novem
ber. 11. W. Conner, Esq. will act as
agent in Charleston, and Messrs. Tho.
