SPINNING MACHINES.
riUIE subscriber having completed his arrangements
A to the North, so as to procure castings and machin
ery in any quantity, is now ready to present the public
with the above machine in a highly improved state, with
any degree of promptness and despatch.
He has now on hand several ol the machines which
perform well, and he hesitates not to sav, that they will
he acknowledged by the planters as superior to any
thing of the kind which has hitherto been introduced into
this country.
The castings, it will he readily conceived, give addi
tional strength, durability and permanency to the ma
chines, and remove the probability of their getting out of
order from shrinking, swelling, or warping, as is some
times the ease with wood. The subscriber has been en
gaged in the business at this place for nearly five years,
and in the course of that time, although he has not been
able to supply half the demand, he has sold in this vicin
ity, machines ttt the amount of upwards of $50,000 —near-
ly all of which have given entire satisfaction. Hundreds
of certificates might be given as to testimonials of the util
ity and workmanship of his machines, but he deems it
unnecessary, as he relies entirely upon their perform
ance, to do away with any prejudice which may exist in
reference to them.
Machines will hereafter be delivered agreeably to or
der, at Columbus, Mis. Columbus, Ga. Macon, Ga. Wo
tompka, Ala. and at othertowns and places in this State
and Georgia, best suited to the convenience of purchasers,
ut a small advance on the price, for delivery. An agent
will bo employed, who will remain at the above places
in Georgia, to put the machines in operation, nnd to give
all the instructions concerning them which may be ne
cessary, and the subscriber will attend generally, either
in person or by proxy, to the starting of the machines,
and if they do not perform agreeably to expectation, per
sons will he released from all responsibility in keeping or
paving for them.
Orders by letter or otherwise, will be attended to with
promptness.
