in six states, viz. New Hampshire,
R. Island, Vermont, New-York,
North-Carolina,& Kentucky. From
the exultation which marks the tone
ol the federal prints on account of
the re-election of the federal candi
dates in R. Island and New Hamp
shire, one would suppose they had
achieved some mighty victory ; that
the seed they had sown had fallen ou
good ground, and they were about

three thousand; it is now at most four
