WHEREAS, I have received official infor
mation, that on tiie 5th tnst. a certain ISAI \H‘
THOMPSON, of Bibb county, nnd st ito*
aforesaid, did commit wanton violence, upon
the body of n negro man named B*n, which
caused his death and whereas it ftivalso been
represented that the said Isaiah Thompson
ha* fled from justice. I have therefore thought
proper to issue this my proclamation hereby
offering a reward of ONE HUNDRED AND
FIFTY DOLLARS to any person or persons,
who may apprehend the said Isaiah Thomp
son, and him safely deliver to the sheriff or
jailor of the county aforesaid, and I do more
over charge all officers civil and military, with
in this state to be vigilant in assisting to uppre-
