LOOK AT THIS COW —
In the spring of 1820,1 called on William Cook,
Esq. late of Telfair county, dec’d.; lie inform
ed me there was a Cow at his pen ; and, says
he, Mr. Alexander Graham requested me to
l**t j on know the Cow was here. 1 will here remark that the Cow
tills spring run with Mr. Graham’s stock, and that he kept my stock
ol rattle in the year 1810 or 1811, consequently he knew my mark
and brand perfectly—lie thus discovered the Cow was once in my
mark and brand, although it was then altered. I went with Mr.

K' lqiber, an<l let no man take her off, and if any inon claimed

as an unper slope in each ear, the brand was called J.nnd Hour-
duer. Tills cow bad on the above brand in two places, to wit.
i the ci'.-iiion above the hip,and on the bulge ofthe belly; the
upper slopes appeared plain in the cars, notw ithstanding the al
teration that was made in her mark. 1 here insert the war her
mark was altered, to wit: nrropand tinderbit in each ear. I ha
