cotton laud, the subscribers will be content to sell the unim
proved Land, and allow the purchaser the proceeds of the first
year's crop, and give him title for 100 acres upon receiving the
second voar's product of 33$ acres well cultivated.

T HE petition of Edwin Payne sheweth unto the Court that
on thel Ith day of Noveiuber, 1334, Eppes Tucker Jr M of
said countv, now deceased, made and delivered to him his
penal bond in the sum of Four Thousand Dollars, conditioned
to make or cause to be made good and lawful titles to the east
half oflotofland. No.one hundred and ninety-five, with the
exception of twelve acres sold to John Bril, and also, the east
half of lot of land, No. one hundred and ninety, both lots lying
and being in the tenth district of formally Henry now New
ton county. And it appearing to the Court that the said
Eppe« Tucker.Jr.departed ibis life without making titles to
the said east halves of lots of land with the exception xs
aforesaid and without making provision therafot by will, j

iam Alston, of the'countv and State aforesaid, of the one part,
and Alfred Burnhaui of the same place, oi the other part, wit-
