leave to sny that the present season ha* been one quite
unfavorable to tha action of all fertilizers.
Several kind* of manures were used by ns, with the ex
ceptiou of your Poudrette, with little or no effect, io the
r \fti0re the Pondrette was used. if. gave ns near half a
bale more per acre, and caused t..e cottou ro open much
earlier, and w would therefore recommend the 4tune is
