M. R.bbo speaks of the small pox (polite
verole ) prevailing among the sheep in Germa
ny, and says vaccination is the best means of
preserving them from it.—Ho does not think
that salt is indispensable for sheep,
The greatest market for wool is that of
Breslau, in Prussian Silesia. Tiio quantity
brought to tho fairs in that city in June and
October, 1820, was 190,000 bales. . There
are aunual fairs for the sale of wool, &c. at
Berlin, Dantzig, Magdeburg, Leipsing, Baut.
zen, Vienna, Pest, &c. Much of tile wool of
Germany is exported to England.
