SLOOP EXPERIMENT,

BEGS leave to inform his friends and the public, that
he wi I on the firft of July, commence running a
sloop, of about one hundred and ten tons burthen, be
tweet the cities o! NEW—YORK and HUDSON, lor
the purpose of car ying passengers.
Few people, who have had occasion to take passage
tin or down the Not h River, but have experienced the
inconvenience and iifque of gotng on board vefleis
deep y loaded and lumbered on deck ; therefore cap
tain Bunker has determined to take no freight on board
the Experiment, v hich will remedy that inconvenience
and emirely do away the rifque.
The owners of this vtffel, being desirous to render

Cble, have nor only taken care to furniih her with the
bed Beds, Bedd'ng, I iquors, Piovifions, &c. but they
have been at very great expense and trouble in procur
ing materials and bui tiir.g her on the bid construction
for fai ing and tor the accommodation of ladies and gen
tlemen travelling on bulinessor forpleafure.
The Experiment will leave New-York every Wed
tJF.soav evening preeifely at fi o’clock, and Hv.dfon

Captain Bunker having lien fevera! years engaged in
the freighting’flSufmefs between New-York and Hud
son, has become well acquainted with every part of the
river; and he hopes, hy attention and puncrua’ity, to
m iit the parr mage of ladies and gentlemen from the
southward, V may visit the celebrated Bailston,
Saratoga, aid Lebanon Springs, or trave eis
who may have occasion to travel through the northern

Hudson, (where the river is impeded by bars, islands
