UPON the petition of T homas Youno, of
the city of Savannah, in the state of Geor
gia, planter, stating a Deed of Conveyance f. om
John Graham, late of the province of Georgia,
to John Guldwcil, late of South-Curolina, pre
twelve hundred acres of land, situate in the for
sent county of Liberty, in the state of Georgia,
known hy the name ol B.iiliic's neck j bounded
south and southwest on North-New poll river
and land of Robert Nobles, east and northeast
on land of George Nobles and vacant land, anil
north and north west on vacant land, bearing date
the -day of , 011 c thousand seven hun
ched and sixty-four; a copy whereof, as nearly as
the petitioner could recollect, was annexed to
said petition, is now lodged in the clerk’s office,
together with an affidavit, pursuant to the acts
of this stale, of force in such cases, has been
lost or destroyed ; and praying the benefit in
tended by the aforesaid acts, and other circum
stantial proof being laid before the court: It is
ordered, that the said Deed of Conveyance,
from the sAd John Graham to John Caldwell,
for the lantl aforesaid, be established as direct
ed by law. on the said Thomas Young publish
ing a weekly notice, in one of our public ga
zettes of ibis state, ior the space of six calen
der months, unless good and sufficient cause
shall be shewn to live contrary, within the said
six months, or other-matter shall appear to the
court against the same.

of Chatham, in the state of Georgia, planter, Ha
ting, that a certain deed of gift made and em-cutcd hy

George, then province,now (late of Georgia, by which
he gave and convened umo his wife Margaret, his
lo.i John, and his daughter Mary M’Donald, after
wards Mary Chnftie, and to the survivor or ftirviv

tate, real and peifonal, W’hatfoever and wheresoever
iituate, with the righ s members and appurtenances to
the laid landed, or real ellate beh nging, and the lutuie

every kind, beating date the fii ft day of July in the
year ot out lord one thousand seven hundred and flu
ty three, (a sopy whereof as nearly as the petitioner

time, accident, or during ihe revolutionary war; and

ON the petition of Moses May,of said coun
ty, planter, stating that he was possessed
of a certain deed or title to some negroes, and
personal property, as trustee, for the use of
Mrs. Rebecca .'shearer, and her issue, a copy
whereof, as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed to said petition, and is now
lodged in the clerk’s office, together with affi
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by said acts, and other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—
It is ordered, That the said deed, or title of
sale from Matthew Shearer, be Rebecca Shear
er, his wife, to Moses May, of Negroes and
some persona! property, be established as di
rected by law, on the said Moses May’s pub
lishing a weekly notice in one of the public
gazettes ol this state, for the space of six ca
lendar months, unless good cause shall be
shewn to the contrary within the said six months,
or other matter shall appear to the court a
guinst the same.

Notice is hereby given, that in con
formity with the provisions of the act
supplementary to the act, intituled
“ An act making provision for the re
demption of ilie whole of the public
debt of the United States,” books will ,
be open at the ohice of the commis- I
sioner of loans for Georgia, on the first
day of July next, to continue open un
til the seventeenth day of March, 1808,
inclusively, the fourteen last days of
each quarter excepted, for the pm pose
of receiving subscriptions for such
parts of the old six per cent, deferred
six per cent, and three per cent, stocks,
as may, on the day of subscription,
stand on the books of the said com
missioner of loans.
Those proprietors of the old six per
cent, and deferred stocks, who may
subscribe, will receive in lieu thereof
anew six per cent, stock, equal to the
1 unredeemed amount of the stock sur
rendered, redeemable at the pleasure
of the United States, under a proviso,
however, that no reimbursement shall
be made except for the whole amount
of any such new certificate of stock,
nor till after six months previous no
-1 tice: and the proprietors of the three
1 per cent, stock who may subscribe,
will receive in lieu thereof, a six per
cent stock, equal to sixty-five per cent,
of the amount of three per cent, sur
rendered, redeemable in the same
manner as the new six per cent, above
mentioned but not reimbursable, how
ever, without the assent of the holders,
until after the whole of the new six
per cent, (given in exchange for old
six or deferred as above mentioned) as
well as the whole of the eight per cent,
stock of the United States, shall have
been reimbursed. It is also provided,
that in evciy reimbursement which
may take pk.ee, a preference will be
given to those creditors who may no
tifv their wish to be reimbursed; and
. that if the applications of that effect
shall at anytime either exceed or full
short of the sum then applicable to tha 1
purpose, the priority of payment shall,
so far as may be necessary, be deter-
I mined by lot.

their option, receive the interest accru
i ing on the new stock, either in the U

don or Amsterdam, at par; in which
