ty, planter, stating that he was possessed
of a certain deed or title to some negroes, and
personal property, us trustee, for the use of
Mrs. Rebecca .shearer, and her issue, a copy
whereof, as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed tosaid petition, and is now
lodged in the clerk’s otiice, together with affi
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by said acts, and other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—
. It is ordered , That the said deoff, or title of
sale from Matthew Shearer, Sc Rebecca Shear
er, his wife, to Moses May, of Aegroes and
some personal property, be established as di
rected by law, on the said Moses .May’s pub
