Barney, commander of the American private
armed schr. the Rossie, on behalf as well of,
himself, as of his owners, cificeis, and crew;
against the British ship Princess Amelia, her,
tackle, apparel and furniture, by which said.'
libel, the said libellant doth allege, propound
and declare, as follows, to Wit.
That war and a state of hostilities exist be
tween the united kingdom of Great-Britaiik f
.and Iceland, and the dependencies thereof) and .
the United Stutes or America and their territo
ries, and captures abd seizures of enemies*
property, authorised and enjoined on ail officers *
of the United Stales; that the libellant, thete- ’
fore, in and frith (fie satd schoonei; ^uly com-:
missioned and au horised, agreeably to law}
and her (fficcrs and ctew, on the fifteenth day
of September last past, did subdue, seize and ">•
take upon the liign seas, the said ship Princess
Amelia, of the but then of about tops;
with her tackle, apparel and furniture, and
hath brought her into the port of Savannah,
and within the jurisdiction of this honorable
couit, wbe’.e she now is.
That the said ship Princess Amelia, at the
time of the said capture t bet cof, was under
the command of one Isaac MoorsonlTand had
on board besides the said commander thereof;
twenty-eight English mariners, and three Eng
lish passengers ; that the .said ship Prioress
Amelia at the time of the time of the sa d cap
ture was a British vessel, sailing under the
flag ol Great-Britain, and owned and navigat
ed by subjects of Great-Britain.
That ail and singular tlie premises arfe and
woe true, public and notorious, and. that by.
the laws of the United States of America, aa
well as by the law of nations, the said ship
Princess Amelia, with her tackle, sppaitl. fur
niture and guns, became, and was > and is for
feited.
And the libellant prays that the said ship;
her tackle 8cc. may, by Warrant under the seal
of this court, be attached, and the usual process
'and monition of this cour, in this behalf, be
made, and that the same may be condemned
as forfeited.
Now, therefore, you, the.said-marshal, arS
hereby ccmmanded, to cite and admonish alii.

ing any interest in -the said ship Princess
Amelia, her tackle, apparel, furniture and
guns, or any part thereof, to be and appear at

Into the subscriber’s inclosure, some months,
igo, a dark colored STEER, with a brown -
hack, also a white spot near the tail, about
three years old. no brand, both eats cropped.
Also, camd to the same place, about fivd
days ago, a black HORSE, about fourteeif
hands high, about ten years old ; there is on
the left lore-shoulder, the mark of a brand, re
sembling the figure of 2.
The owners of the above strays, are request
ed to call either on the subscriber, in Savan
nah, or at his plantation, on Augustine creek;
on Mr. Win. Bosnian, prove their property;
and take them away.

not received their'dividend of 70 per centum;

vidend, and all drafts which have been issued
for the said dividend, must be presented with
out delay to the respective offices, Where the
same are payable, and the holders of shares
