T HE unprecedented popularity ofthis benefi

pled persons to manufacture spurious catchpenny
articles, under various names, andf purporting to
produce the same effect; but which, ill reality, pro
duce no other effect than that of swindling tho

their wretched nostrums liuvo been in ttso in
England and elsewhere (bra inmiW of years;
whereas, until the illustrious Dr. Mngnin made
his wonderful discovery, no cure for barrenness
had been over thought of, or at.least made pub
lic; and nil those then in use- for the restoration
of the decayed virile powers were found to be of

for barrenness ortho curoof impotency, but Dr.

pearance and great celebrity of tho LUCINA
CORDIAL- As no counterfoil of tho nuiiio is
nt present in circulation, it may in general be a
sufficient caution for the purchaser to ask for tho
Lucinn Cordial, but ns further assurance,it would
ho ns well to note that its name, Lucina Cordial,

Sec. f. Bo it ordained, by the Mayor nnd Al-
erman of the city of Savannah and Hamlets
hereof, in Council assembled, and it is hereby
rda’ncd hy the authority of the same, that tho
ourteenth section ofthe above recited ordinance,
hall he amended hy striking out therefrom, the
amis “ from nnd conforming to the accompa
nying map”; and thnt the fifteenth section ofsaid
refinance shall be amended, by striking out the
rords “die common level ofthe streets, ns is
outnined in the accompanying map,” and insert-

thousand certificates and other documents in fa
vor of his SPECIFIC OINTMENT—andtncy

James Fort nnd Stephen C.Kmg for the use of
Horace S. Pratt, that C. VV. Cartwright, Simon
Greenlenfond \V. II. Gardner, Trustees of tho
Brunswick Land Company, on the 15th day of
October, 1836, made and executed n certain
Mortgage Deed to the said James Fort nnd Ste
phen C. King, in nnd lo all those tracts of Land
which lying nnd being on Turtle River in the
County and Slate aforesaid, adjoining the town
common of Brunswick, containing five thousand
six hundred and forty acres, more or less, with
the exception oftwo acres ofPino Land given by
James Fort, on which tract a house of worship
called the Chapel, situate about five miles from
Brunswick, said tracts being more particularly
described, and bounded as follows, viz; Two
tracts ofsaid land adjoining nnd containing to-
getherby resurvey three hundred aud ninety-five
acres, more or less, granted on the 6th January,
1767, to Henry Lawrens, including two hundred
acres surveyed for Robert Savage and now form
ing a part oi said tracts, hounded at the time of
survey southerly by land reserved for the public
service known ns the Brunswick Common, north
erly by other lauds ordered to the said Henry
Lawrens, anil on all other-sides by marsh andva
cant lands; and the other of snid tracts bounded
northwest pnrt by land of Jacob Helves tine, (or
Helveston) nnd part by vacant lands, southerly
by other lands ordered the said Henry Lawrens,
nnd ou all other sides by marsh nnd vacant lands;
both of which said tracts have such forms and
marks, natural and artificial, na are expressed and
delineated on the plats annexed to said grunts.
