A Certain Cure for Sick Head-
■ - Aclie.
"IITHICH has been used in families, every
member of tybich has had sick headache
♦from infancy,as a constitutional family complaint,
and has cured effectually in every instance yet
known, amounting to many hundreds. It is not
n lcasant to the taste, and docs not prevent the
/ avocations of one using iu it mnst be perse
vered in, and the cure is gradual, but certain and
permanent Instance* are constantly multiply
ing where this distressing complaint incomplete-
l^tefieve&and cured, although of years standing,
by the nse of Dr. Spobn’s celebrated remedy.
One decided preference is its pleasantness, hav
inguoud ofthe nauseating effects of common
•* drugs.
..In all dyspeptic symtoms, costiveness, irregu-
fcrity, distress after meals, pains in the aide and
torpidity ofthe liver, the cure is perfect, and any
one so afflicted will become immediately-convin
ced on using it, that he has at last found a “sover
eign balm for his wounds." Females are particu
larly Irf commended to use it for costiveness or ir-
regularity, and other female complaints. It is
proved to conecl vitiated and disordered humors
keeping the stomach in most perfect order. Those
persons who after an evonings indulgence at pur-
ties, dec. have headache and dullness the next
day, will find this a sure preventive if taken nt
bedtime. For all common complaints, in a few
day* its virtues will be self-evident, aud a complete
cure will soon be effected. When a person has
a cold and feels unwell, generally a free nse ofii
for a few days will be suro to relieve without
physic or pills. To children it may be given with
die greatest advantage.
In all acidity or sourness of stomach this remedy
is sovereign and invaluable; as a general family
medicine it is now adopted by many of the most
respectable funnies. It never sickens the stomach

The Lncioa Cordial,
BEWARE OF FRAUD.
T HE unprecedented popularity ofthisbonefi-
cent and inestimable CORDIAL in the U-
nited States, baa induced one or more unprinci
pled persons to manufacture spurious catchpenny
articles, under various names, and purporting to
produce the same effect; but which, in reality, pro
duce no other cttect than that of swindling the
public; and to give a yet more plausible appear-
anco of their cupidity, tho*e persona affect that
thair wretched nostrums liuve boon in uso in
England end elsewhere for a number of years;
whereas, until the illustrious Dr. Mngnin tn .de
his wonderful discovery, no cure for uaneni.c**.
had been ever thought of, oral least made pub
lic ; nud all those then in use for the restoration
ofthe decayed virile power* worn found to he of
hut little avail. Thus, nil nostrums advertised
for barrenness or the euro of impotency, but Dr.
Mngnin’* are more catchpenny humbugs, which
would never have been thought of hilt for the ap
pearance and great celebrity of the LUCINA
CORDIAL. As no counterfeit ofthe name ia
at present in circulation, it tuny in general be a
sufficient caution for the purchaser to ask for. the
Lucina Cordial, but os further assurance,it would
be as well to note that its name, Luciua Cordial,
or Elixir of Love, is stamped in tho glass of each
bottle—the camhinu'd arms of Franco and the U-
nited Stales are on the outward envelope—that
a Fleur de Lis is printed on tho accompanying
directions, and benutifully embossed on the show
bills hanging in thn stores of those who have the
genuine article for sale.
Tho celebrity of tho Lucina Cordial being such
ns it is, it is scarcely necessary to add that it is the
only efficient remotly for Imriemiuss, nnd the res
toration of decayed virile powers ever knoun;
and that in tho cure of Fluor Albus, Gleet, obstruc
ted, difficult or painful Menstruation, the inenn-
trainee ofthe urine, or the involuntary dischnrgo
thereof, its superiority over every other mcdiciue
is not only decided, but unquestionable. For
