Cotton—Troops tor Virginia Raw On:naas, April 26.—Tho sales of Cot ton yesterday reached 1,250 bales, at irregular figures. The Davis Guards, from Louisville, Ken tucky, arrived here to-day. They were enthu siastically received. They will he followed by two companies of citizen soldiers, who have volunteered their services to go to Virginia. More Troops for Virginia. Mosit.it, April 25.--There were 150 bales of Cotton sold yesterday, at II cents. Receipts nominal. Two Companies left here for M ntgomery yesterday; two. more will leave by the boat todftorvow night. Five buodred, in all, have bean accepted by the Secretary of War from Mobile. 1 Star of tho Weal and Thirty Prisoner* at Montgomery. Momtoomsmy, April 25.—The prize steamer Star of the West, and thirty prisoners, arrived hers yesterday. Union and Secession--Flag Rained and Torn Down. LbxikotoB, Mo., April 23.—An enthusiastic meeting was held here to-day aad Union reso lutions adopted. At tho secession meeting held here ou Satur day resolution* were adopted thanking the Governor for his reply to President Lincoln. Six Military Companies have been formed. A 'Union (lug was hoisted to.day, but it was soon torn down. Trouble In Nebraska—Four Men Killed. Omaha, N. T., April 23.—The Nebraskaites boarded to-day tbe steamer Omaha, and declar ed that the boat abould not remove tbe troops from Fort Randall. Arrival of the Tug Yankee. Raw Tone, April 24.—Tne steam tug Yan kee, from Norfolk, bas arrived. She brings the details of the deatruction of the Navy Yard. All tbe vessels of war, except the Cumber land, were destroyed or eunk. The Cumberland is now at Fortress Monroe. Twenty Steamer* to be Chartered by the United states Government. Naw York, April 24.—Il is reported here that tbe Government has directed Commodore Breeze to charier tweuty steamers, of light draft, armed with pivot guns, for three months.
